ICEPT 2027
4th International Conference on Emerging Power Technologies (ICEPT) May 06-07, 2027

The 4th International Conference on Emerging Power Technologies (ICEPT’27) will be held on May 06–07, 2027, at the GIK Institute, Topi, Pakistan. Nestled in the scenic surroundings of the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, the conference venue offers a beautiful setting characterized by lush green landscapes and picturesque views of the surrounding hills. This inspiring academic environment provides an excellent opportunity for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, engineers, and policymakers to come together, exchange knowledge, share innovative research findings, and discuss emerging developments in power and energy technologies.

As the global energy landscape undergoes rapid transformation, advancements in smart grids, renewable energy, power electronics, artificial intelligence, digitalization, and sustainable transportation are reshaping the future of power systems. ICEPT’27 will provide an international platform to explore these developments, address emerging technical challenges, and foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration between academia and industry.

The conference will cover a broad range of contemporary topics, including smart grid technologies, micro and nano swarm grids, AI and machine learning applications in power systems, data analytics, power system control, cyber-physical resilience, demand-side management, power electronics, electric and hybrid transportation, renewable and sustainable energy technologies, distributed generation, and energy storage.

Additional areas of interest include power system planning, operation and control; electrical machines and drives; power generation, transmission, distribution and utilization; power quality and protection; flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS); HVDC and high-voltage technologies; and uncertainty analysis, modeling, and forecasting for renewable energy resources and demands.

Recognizing the growing role of digital technologies in modern energy infrastructure, ICEPT’27 will also emphasize emerging areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, smart grid communication infrastructure, cybersecurity, edge and fog computing, 5G/6G communication technologies, digital twins, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, FPGA- and microcontroller-based control systems, blockchain-enabled energy trading, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies.

All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure their technical quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to IEEE’s applicable publication requirements and approval.

Through technical presentations, scholarly discussions, and opportunities for professional networking, ICEPT’27 seeks to promote knowledge exchange, encourage international research collaboration, and contribute to the development of reliable, intelligent, resilient, and sustainable power and energy systems. The conference also offers participants an opportunity to experience the academic and natural beauty of GIKI’s picturesque campus while engaging with the global power and energy research community.
