It was acknowledged by the faculty that these recognitions reflect exceptional academic and research contributions in the fields of condensed matter physics and photonics. The Faculty congratulated Dr. Tahir Naseem on 12th February 2026 in faculty meeting for the outstanding achievement of his MS student, Mr. M. Warsham Qaiser (Reg. No. ES2515), who secured Second Prize along with a cash award of Rs. 600,000/- for his project titled: “Quantum-Enhanced Flood Management System”. The project was presented at Pakistan’s First Quantum Computing Hackathon, funded by the United Nations and organized in collaboration with leading national and international institutions.
