REQUISITE QULAIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE ABOVE POSITIONS
PROFESSOR:
PhD in the relevant discipline (Cyber Security/Data Science) from a recognized university by HEC in consultation with PEC with six (6) years’ service as Associate Professor and 15 research publications with at-least 5 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals or 11 years post PhD teaching and research experience and 15 research publications with at-least 5 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals. Two years industrial experience in an organization of international repute will be considered equivalent to one year of teaching and research experience in the university.
Candidates for Professorship must have demonstrated that their research achievement have had a recognized impact on the advancement of knowledge in their subject area(s).
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
PhD in the relevant discipline (Cyber Security/Data Science Program) from a recognized university by HEC in consultation with PEC with five (5) years post PhD experience as Assistant Professor and 10 research publications with at-least 4 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals. Two years industrial experience in an organization of international repute will be considered equivalent to one year of teaching and research experience in the university. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct Independent and original research.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
PhD in the relevant field (Cyber Security/Data Science) from HEC recognized University / Institution, preferably with some publications in refereed journals of international repute. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct independent and original research.
LECTURER:
Master’s Degree/ (First Class) preferably in the relevant field (Cyber Security/Data Science) from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd Division in the Academic career.
Computer Engineer, Cyber Security Program:
BS in Cyber Security (or closely related discipline with specialization in Cyber Security), with 1st Division from a recognized university. Candidates having experience of teaching cyber security courses and/or conducting cyber security labs will be given preference.
Lab. Engineer, FES:
BS in Engineering Sciences, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar engineering degree from any PEC recognized university.
BE/BS degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with 1st division from a recognized university. Candidates with hands-on experience of lab Supervision and lab development will be given preference.
Research Officer, School of Management Sciences:
BS or Master’s Degree (16 years) in a relevant subject from a recognized university with some teaching experience at college or university level. Preference will be given to the candidate with a Management Sciences background. & strong knowledge of computing/IT skills and strong written & oral English communication skills. Candidates with higher degrees or irrelevant qualifications would not be considered.
