Academic and Professional Background
Laraib Noor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Attock Campus, and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Bahria University, Islamabad Campus, where she graduated Cum Laude and received the Gold Medal for outstanding academic performance. Her master’s thesis, conducted in collaboration with NESCOM Pakistan, was titled “Testing of Cyber-Physical Systems having an AI-Based Component” and focused on developing testing frameworks for intelligent systems.
Her teaching career began as a Lab Engineer and Administrator in the Cybersecurity and Software Engineering Department, FCSE, where she taught courses including Machine Learning, Python Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Freelancing Essentials. Currently, she is serving as a Lecturer in GIKI, FCSE.
In addition to her teaching, she has professional experience as a MERN Stack Developer at Synet, where she worked on the design and development of scalable web applications. She has also contributed to student communities as a Core Team Member (Dev Lead) at Google Developer Student Clubs, organizing workshops and collaborating with industry professionals to promote technical learning.
Her research interests include Software Testing, Cyber-Physical Systems, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, NLP, and Full Stack Web/Mobile App Development.
