Refurbishment of Water-Cooled Reciprocating Chiller (SKM Model No. WPCD-5270B) in HVAC Plant.

1. GIK Institute invites interested and qualified contractors to submit proposals for the refurbishment of a Water-Cooled Reciprocating Chiller (SKM Model No. WPCD-5270B) in the HVAC Plant of our facility located at GIK Institute, Topi Swabi.
2. Scope of Work includes:
3. Replacement of the evaporator shell along with refrigerant coils, complete in all respects. Gas charging along with dryer cores replacement.
4. Repair or replacement of expansion valves and liquid line solenoid valves.
5. Checking and repairing of the electrical control system of each circuit.
6. Repair or replacement/checking of the motor protection circuit of each compressor.
7. Checking and repair of 3 Nos condensers.
8. Any other repair work found during the system check.
9. Testing and commissioning of the chiller to ensure it meets the required operational standards.
10. Interested contractors must meet the following requirements:
11. Prior experience and expertise in repairing and maintaining chillers in HVAC systems.
12. Valid license and certifications for carrying out HVAC repairs in Public/Private Sectors. Compliance with all local regulations and safety standards.
13. Submission of a detailed breakdown of costs, including labor, materials, taxes, and any additional charges.
14. Interested parties are requested to take the following points into consideration before submitting their

1. Your sealed quotation must be delivered to the office of the undersigned on or before 20 August 2024, at 11:00 AM. Any quotation received later than the scheduled date and time will be rejected and returned unopened.
2. All quotations must be valid for a period of Thirty (30) days from the closing date of the Request for
3. The quotation shall be completed and signed by an authorized representative of the supplier and must be on format as per above table.
4. The quoted price should include sales tax or any other taxes as per Govt rules (if applicable).
5. Payment will be made within 2-3 weeks after acceptance of the work order subject to deduction of taxes  as per law.
6. In the case of any arithmetical discrepancy between the unit rate and the total amount quoted, then the unit rate shall prevail both for the evaluation of quotations and for the subsequent work
