Introduction to PlanSwift
A seminar on ‘Introduction to PlanSwift’ was arranged by the ICE student chapter of the Department of Civil Engineering, GIk Institute on May 20, 2022. Mr. Saadi Chohan was invited as a guest speaker at the Seminar.
Mr. Saadi Chohan is a technical trainer of leading construction material quantity estimation software, ’Planswift’, in the Middle East and Africa. He has also been an honorary trainer of the major Quantity Surveying Communities Worldwide i.e., UAE, Pakistan, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Rwanda.
PlanSwift is a modern quantity estimating tool that can help the engineering communities to estimate the quantities of major projects within a few hours. Considering its importance seminar was comprised of an introduction to this tool and its benefits for the engineering community, especially the fresh graduate looking for opportunities at various platforms including freelancing as well.
At the end of the Seminar, an honorary shield was presented to a guest speaker by the Head of Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Tanoli, who later on emphasizes on the importance of modern tools for young engineers and promised to students that such seminars will be arranged in future as well.
