About the Speaker:

Professor Jawwad Darr is a professor in Materials Chemistry at University College London UK. He is also the vice-dean for Enterprise and Innovation for the MAPS faculty. He has been a visiting professor for over 12 years at COMSATS University Lahore at the IRC in Biomedical Materials, which seeks to develop low-cost medical devices.

He is the co-founder and chairman of UPSIGN (UK-Pakistan Science and Innovation Global Network), a charity that seeks to work with stakeholders to develop better coordination, cooperation and communication between skilled UK experts and Pakistani researchers and educationalists.
