The President of the Society for the Promotion of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Pakistan (SOPREST), Engr. During the visit, he inaugurated two new campus facilities and met faculty and students from across the Institute.

The President was received by Rector Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, SI, and the Pro-Rectors. His engagements included a meeting with the Rector and Pro-Rectors, followed by an interaction with Deans and Heads of Departments.

The President formally inaugurated the Institute’s new Padel Court at the Sports Complex. The court adds to GIKI’s sports facilities and gives students another avenue for fitness, recreation and healthy competition. He also inaugurated the New Boys Hostel-14. These additions expand GIKI’s recreational and residential facilities, supporting an enriching campus experience for students.

These students shared their experiences abroad, showing the global exposure GIKI students continue to gain.
