REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE ABOVE POSITIONS
Rank: Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor
Position Type: Full-time (teaching, research, supervision)
Salary: Around PKR 600,000/- per month.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in AI from a highly ranked university.
- Strong publication record in top-tier impact factor journals (minimum 10 as primary, secondary or tertiary author for Associate Professor, and at least as first author for Assistant Professor).
- Excellent teaching ability at foundational and advanced levels in AI and supervise MS/PhD level research.
Experience
- For Associate Professor: 5+ years of post-PhD academic/research in AI. No experience required for Assistant Professor.
- Prior teaching or TA experience at the university level (desirable for Assistant Professor, required for Associate Prof).
- Experience with industry-scale datasets, AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), MLOps tools, or GPU computing.
- Engagement in applied research or collaborations with industry partners.
- Evidence of potential to publish in tier‑1 venues and attract funding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and collaborative culture.
