
GIK Institute successfully hosted Career Fair 2026, welcoming over 90 leading national and multinational companies for recruitment, assessments, and internship opportunities.
The event brought industry and academia together, with corporate leaders engaging directly with students through shortlisting, interviews, and career development discussions.
The Career Fair was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Ashar Aziz, President GIKI Board of Governors, Engr. Salim Saifullah Khan, Executive Director of SOPREST, Mr. Shakil Durrani; and Members of the GIKI Board of Governors; Mr. Osman Saifullah Khan and Dr. Muhammad Zubair Khan.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Fazal Khalid, SI, Rector GIKI, highlighted the Institute’s ongoing initiatives centered on innovation, sustainability, and industry-driven education. He reaffirmed GIKI’s commitment to producing globally competitive graduates who contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s technological and economic development.
Senator Saleem Saifullah Khan, President SOPREST and President of the GIKI Board of Governors, emphasized the indispensable role of the private sector in national development and stressed the importance of sustained collaboration between academia and industry.
In his keynote address, Chief Guest Mr. Ashar Aziz spoke on the theme of responsible artificial intelligence, underscoring the need for ethical, sustainable, and human-centric AI systems to address emerging national and global challenges.
Industry representatives commended GIKI’s strong academic ecosystem and highlighted the value of long-term partnerships in shaping Pakistan’s technological and economic future.
