Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Secretary Higher Education KP, Rector GIKI Prof. Dr. Fazal Khalid and Vice Chancellors from top universities across KP participated in the KP Job Fair at UET Peshawar.

The Higher Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, organized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Job Fair 2025 under the Good Governance Roadmap. The event brought together 2,700 graduates and 205 industrial partners, creating a dynamic platform for employment, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration.

Chief Guest Muhammad Sohail Afridi, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, graced the occasion alongside Mr. Kamran Ahmed Afridi, Secretary of Higher Education KP, and His Excellency Ali BanafshehKhah, Consul General of Iran in Peshawar attended the event. The event also featured prominent academic figures, including Prof. Dr. Fazal A. Khalid (Rector GIKI), Prof. Dr. Sadiq Khattak (Vice Chancellor UET Peshawar), Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmin (Vice Chancellor University of Swabi), Dr. Arif Khattak (Director ORIC UET Peshawar), and Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani (Director IMSciences Peshawar), who collectively emphasized the importance of industry-academia collaboration and youth empowerment.
