The GIKI Alumni – UK Chapter welcomed the honorable Rector, Prof. Dr. Fazal Khalid, SI, during his ongoing visit to London. Alumni representing batches 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 26, and 28 gathered for a meaningful evening to reflect on the growth and impact of our alma mater.
Prof. Dr. Fazal Khalid highlighted the pivotal role of GIKI alumni in strengthening Pakistan’s global reputation and that of GIKI through their professional, academic, and entrepreneurial accomplishments. He encouraged alumni to actively mentor and support younger engineers, reinforcing a culture of giving back.
The Rector also appreciated the remarkable efforts of the GIKI Alumni Association (GIKIAA), whose Scholarship Fund continues to create opportunities for talented students from less-privileged backgrounds.
Special gratitude goes to Ali Hasan Butt, Zulfiqar Malik, Bilal Ahmed, Muhammad Ahmer Javaid, Adeel Shahzad, Kashif Saleem, and all participants for successfully organizing this engaging alumni gathering.
