REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE ABOVE POSITIONS

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:

PhD in the relevant discipline from a recognized university by HEC in consultation with PEC with five (5) years post PhD experience as Assistant Professor and 10 research publications with at-least 4 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals. Two years industrial experience in an organization of international repute will be considered equivalent to one year of teaching and research experience in the university. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct Independent and original research.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:

PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution, preferably with some publications in refereed journals of international repute. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct independent and original research.

LECTURER:

Master’s Degree/ (First Class) preferably in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd Division in the Academic career. 

DEPUTY DIRECTOR (HR):

MS in Management Sciences or MBA from a recognized University with at least 5 years’ post qualification HR experience in a government, semi government or autonomous or reputed private organization in the following fields, namely; personnel management and coordination. Should have excellent IT & communication skills.

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR:

MS in Computer Science or relevant discipline. Minimum 4 years’ experience in Network/System Administration (experience within the enterprise / education sector is desirable. Sound technical background / knowledge and experience of LANs including structured cabling, WANs, Wi-Fi, SDN and Cisco router is required. Good working experience of Microsoft office tools. Must be CCNA. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, ability to resolve issues and to maintain positive relationships with users and team”.

SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER:

MCPS/MRCP/M.D. from a recognized University with a minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a government or semi-government or autonomous or a private reputed hospital / organization will be given preference. Must be registered with PMDC Islamabad. Should have good working knowledge of computers and excellent communication skills.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (HR):

Master’s Degree (at least 16 years’ education) in Business Administration or Public Administration or Administrative / Social Sciences or from a recognized University with preferably 2 years experience in personnel management and coordination in a government or semi government or autonomous or a reputed private organization. Should have good working knowledge of computer and excellent communication skills.

MEDICAL OFFICER:

MBBS, RMP preferably with 2 years’ experience in a government or semi government or a reputed private hospital / organization will be given preference. Must be registered with PMDC Islamabad. Should have good working knowledge of computer.

MECHANICAL / MECHATRONICS ENGINEER (FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING):

BE/BS degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university with first division or minimum 2.5/4 CGPA. Candidates having hands on experience in the fields of thermos-fluids, design and manufacturing and Robotics & Automation or relevant areas will be given preference.

CIVIL ENGINEER (DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING):

BE/BS degree in Civil Engineering with 1st division from a recognized university. Candidates with hands-on experience of lab Supervision and lab development will be given preference.

LAB. ENGINEER  (FACULTY OF BASIC SCIENCES):

BS in Electrical / Electronic / Engineering Sciences (Specialization in Photonics or Modeling and Simulation)  from any PEC / HEC recognized university with some teaching experience at college or university level will be preferred.

SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (FACULTY OF BASIC SCIENCES):

BS in Physics (16 years of Education) from any PEC / HEC recognized university with some teaching experience at college or university level will be preferred.

MATERIALS ENGINEER (FACULT OF MATERIALS SCIENCE):

BE/BS in Materials Engineering with 1st Division from a recognized university. Candidates having experience of teaching and research will be given preference.

FIRE AND SAFETY OFFICER:

Graduate or equivalent from a recognized university with Station Fire Officer Course/ Rescue Course and at least 5 years post qualification/course relevant experience in a similar capacity.

FACULTY / DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR/ PERSONAL ASSISTANT:

The Faculty and Department Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting academic and administrative operations within the department. This position requires a highly organized, technically proficient individual capable of managing communications, scheduling, documentation, and coordination among faculty, students, and administrative offices. The ideal candidate should be proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and modern digital tools including AI-based platforms, with the ability to handle virtual meeting platforms and perform technical tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or any related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Must hold a 1st Division (or equivalent GPA) in the highest degree earned.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Expert-level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook for scheduling, email management, and calendar coordination.
  • Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to draft, compile, and circulate professional meeting minutes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the use of AI tools for documentation, communication, and workflow optimization.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate academic and administrative tasks on behalf of the Dean/HOD and faculty members.
  • Manage internal and external communication via Outlook and official channels.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, including preparing agendas, sending invites, and maintaining calendars.
  • Take accurate and timely minutes of meetings and ensure necessary follow-up actions.
  • Support faculty in academic coordination, course documentation, and record keeping.
  • Serve as the liaison between the department and students, faculty, and other administrative units.
  • Assist in managing departmental data, reports, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Ensure proper technical setup for meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, document drafting, and task automation.
  • Provide administrative support for accreditation, quality assurance, and curriculum-related tasks.

STORE CLERK:

F.A/F. Sc with two years’ experience of work in administration or technical store in a government or semi government or autonomous or reputed organization will be given preference.
