Faculty positions are available in the following Discipline:
Civil Engineering:
- Specialization in Geotechnical Engineering preferably expertise in computation and modelling related to geohazards, earthquakes, and landslides.
- Specialization in Water Resources Engineering preferably expertise in computational fluid dynamics, and hydraulic modelling.
- Specialization in Structural Engineering, preferably expertise in design, computational mechanics / structural modelling and application of AI tools in Structural Engineering. ·
- Specialization in Construction Management and Engineering, preferably expertise in Disruptive technologies such as AR/VR, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and application of AI tools in construction. ·
- Specialization in Transport Engineering, preferably transportation systems and modelling.
The candidates must have undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
Basic Sciences:
Specialization in Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics.
The candidates must have BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Applied Mathematics or in Applied Physics.
Electrical Engineering:
Specialization in Digital Design & Embedded Systems, AI & Smart Grids and Industrial Control & Automation (Industry-4.0).
School of Management Sciences:
Management Sciences Domian– Specialization in Accounting & Finance, Operations & Supply Chain Management
Humanities Domain– English , Pakistan Studies (Ideology & Constitution of Pakistan)
Mechanical Engineering
Specialization in Thermo-fluids / Design and Manufacturing or Robotics and Automation.
Requisite qualifications and experience are as follows:
PROFESSOR:
PhD in the relevant discipline from a recognized university by HEC in consultation with PEC with six (6) years’ service as Associate Professor and 15 research publications with at-least 5 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals or 11 years post PhD teaching and research experience and 15 research publications with at-least 5 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals. Two years industrial experience in an organization of international repute will be considered equivalent to one year of teaching and research experience in the university.
Candidates for Professorship must have demonstrated that their research achievement have had a recognized impact on the advancement of knowledge in their subject area(s).
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:
PhD in the relevant discipline from a recognized university by HEC in consultation with PEC with five (5) years post PhD experience as Assistant Professor and 10 research publications with at-least 4 in the last 5 years, in impact factor journals. Two years industrial experience in an organization of international repute will be considered equivalent to one year of teaching and research experience in the university. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct Independent and original research.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution, preferably with some publications in refereed journals of international repute. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct independent and original research.
LECTURER:
Master’s Degree/ (First Class) in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd Division in the Academic career.
