Qualifications/ Skills 

  • B.S. in Computer Science/IT or relevant discipline (minimum 16 years’ education; M.S. preferred) 
  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified below. 
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of the current trends and developments in Information Technology (IT). Skill in organizing IT resources and establishing priorities. Ability to develop requests for and evaluate proposals in reference to leading-edge information services technology. Ability to resolve technical issues. 
  • General Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.  

Job Description 

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and software, deploying and maintaining wired and wireless networks, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and application problems. 
  • Troubleshooting systems and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues, replacing parts as required. 
  • Setting up and maintaining users’ accounts and profiles (such as email, social media, Zoom etc.).  
  • Providing support in conducting online meetings.  
  • Coordinating the administration of IT services.  
  • Fulfilling requirements and priorities while working with IT resources to ensure effective and efficient solutions. 
  • Providing and managing IT systems, software and services to meet operational requirements. 
  • Coordinating IT procurements including hardware, software and services to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs. 
  • Participating in the development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of IT policies and standard operating procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure effective operation of the organization. 
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems. 
  • Presenting ideas for systems and software improvements, including cost proposals. 
  • Preparation of training manuals and provide training and general support to users. 
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
