Dr. Muhammad Zahir Iqbal, Associate Professor, FES has been awarded the Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS) Gold Medal for the year 2020

Dr. Muhammad Zahir Iqbal, Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering Sciences of the GIK Institute has been awarded the Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS) Gold Medal for the year 2020. The award is conferred on him for his outstanding research performance in Engineering Sciences. Dr. Iqbal’s notable research efforts have been considered as the most valuable contribution to the development of engineering sciences and technology.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Iqbal holds the national Outstanding Research Award by HEC for the year 2017, in the Best Research Paper category in the Natural Sciences discipline. In addition, Dr. Iqbal has been awarded the prestigious GIK Annual Research Award for the year 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
