Prof. Dr. Ismail Boztosun from Akdeniz University, Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, Antalya-Turkey visited Computational Physics Modeling & Simulation (CPMS) from 6th November – 8th November 2015 as speaker on the International Science & Youth Symposium (ISYS3) Program established by the science society Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI).

Activities of Dr. Ismail Boztosun during his stay 

  • Discussion with graduate students on research projects.
  • Presented a special seminar for G.I.K Institute students on “Contribution of Akdeniz University to Experimental Nuclear Physics Studies in Turkey: Photonuclear & Photo fission reactions”.
  • Presented a talk on Theoretical and Experimental Nuclear Physics at “International Science & Youth Symposium (ISYS3)”.
  • Visited the campus of G.I.K Institute with the students of CPMS group.

Explaining the phenomenon of Photo Fission along with the total angular momentum conservation
