Dr. Sakander Hayat

Assistant Professor

Qualifications: PhD in Applied Mathematics (2018), University of Science and Technology of China. MPhil in Applied Mathematics (2014), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. BS (Hons.) in Mathematics (2012), GC University Faisalabad.
Research Interests: Algebraic Combinatorics, Applied Combinatorics, Mathematical Chemistry, Discrete Mathematics, Discrete Applied Mathematics

Distinctions/Achievements/Awards

  • Recipient of Outstanding International Student Award 2017 awarded by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
  • Awardee of CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship for PhD (2014–2018) by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China and The World Academy of Sciences, Italy.
  • Recipient of Presidential Gold Medal (2014) awarded by NUST on securing the first position in MPhil batch 2012–2014.
  • Recipient of Gold Medal (2012) awarded by GCUF on securing the top position in both morning and evening sessions of BS (H) batch 2008–2012.
  • Recipient of Shield of Performance (2011) by GCUF on securing the first position in BS during years 2008–2011.
