The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) under the Student Affairs Department organized an Intra GIK Event “RAAZ The Murder Mystery” on 26th September 2022. The students actively participated in the event. The main theme of this event was to build strong problem-solving skills.
In this event, the participants must decode the cipher text, to detect the location, where they have to perform mini activities to get the medical clues through which they will be able to reach the killer. The person who discovers the killer first will be declared the winner.
Activities include:
- Decoding of Cipher text: To decrypt, take the first letter of ciphertext of the first letter of the key, and subtract their value.
- Solving Puzzle:
- Built a Fulcrum Balance Scale: In which participants use their technical knowledge to build a (simple machine) fulcrum balance using disposable glass and scale.
- Math Twister: The participants use their mathematical knowledge to solve the problem of integration and derivation.
- Bouncers: Participants use their ability of effective concentration to cross this level.
Motivation: These activities will build strong problem-solving abilities in them.
