The IT training program aims to provide essential IT skills to engineers, graduates, and post-graduates. This initiative aims to boost employability, tailor training to current technologies, and foster a thriving IT echo-system through collaboration with the Federal Government and Industry. It will begin with a pilot project for enrolling up to a hundred students termed as “high impact IT training program”. With a curriculum primarily focused on Artificial Intelligence, Data Sciences, and Blockchain Technologies, the program’s objective is to combat unemployment, thereby catalyzing opportunities for the nation’s economic advancement. Over the course of six months, our intensive program offers full-time, on-campus instruction, five days a week. The program is dedicated to empowering young graduates with the skills needed to thrive in today’s IT landscape. In a world where many non-IT young graduates face unemployment, we’re here to bridge the gap by providing them with essential expertise and opportunities in the booming IT sector. Our mission is clear: to equip participants with Job-Ready skills, enabling them to enter the workforce with confidence and competence. With a balanced blend of theory and practical learning, participants gain hands-on experience essential for success in today’s competitive IT market.

Welcome to the High Impact IT Training Program:

This program aims to empower unemployed graduates by equipping them with the necessary skills to secure jobs in the thriving IT industry, both locally and internationally. The proposed program will be a six-months full-time, on-campus engagement five days a week. To ensure the relevance and quality of education, the courses will be delivered predominantly by industry experts who possess extensive knowledge and practical experience in their respective fields. This high impact program mainly focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Data Sciences and Blockchain Technologies. Furthermore, the curriculum will include practical classes and case studies, allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges and build their skills for the professional world.

IT Training Program Entrance Test

The GIK Institute, in collaboration with Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), has decided to start an IT Training Program in Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-7/4, (Margalla Campus), Islamabad under the Prime Ministers High Impact Technology Initiative for 6 months IT Training Program (Focus areas: AI, Data Science, Blockchain, etc.) for unemployed youth.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, MBA, or other Sciences, with a basic understanding of computer programming. Additionally, students who have completed two-years / four semesters of bachelor’s degree program in above mentioned fields are also eligible.

Entrance Test:

There will be a short aptitude test of one hour comprising multiple choice questions evaluating basic computer science knowledge as well as a few questions on analytical and communication skills etc. Only Successful candidates will be invited for interviews for final selection.
