Chairman HEC Advocates the Integration of Cutting-edge Technologies for Indigenous Development of Machine Tools
Acknowledging the accelerating pace of technological evolution, the Chairman Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, SI, HI, underscored the transformative potential of state-of-the-art technologies, particularly emphasizing the pivotal roles played by digital twinning and functional reverse engineering. Speaking at the prestigious 5th International Workshop on Functional Reverse Engineering of Machine Tools (WRE 2023) held at the GIK Institute on December 16, 2023, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed illuminated the considerable momentum these technologies have gained, offering profound opportunities for the indigenous development of machine tools in Pakistan.
