DESCRIPTION:The Pak-Turk conference series is the technical event which focuses on the advances in new technologies in engineering sciences\, nuclear astrophysics\, renewable energy resources\, optical engineering\, computer science and electrical engineering. The series of event was initiated in 2018\, by organizing “First International Pak-Turk workshop on Emerging Technologies in the Field of Sciences and Engineering” held on 9th May\, 2018 at Braber’s Building on campus. \nThe purpose of this conference is to provide a platform for researchers\, academicians and practitioners to make them familiar with recent advancements in the various fields of engineering and sciences. The conference accepts wide range of papers to encourage young and experienced researches to present their work and also the possibility of initiating mutual collaboration with international repute researchers and industry personals. The conference will be comprised of multiple sessions and the selected research articles will be presented based on substantial and novel research. \n

DESCRIPTION:Realizing the potential of open innovations in engineering\, organizations and companies are engaging with an increasing number of external actors\, including start-ups\, SMEs\, universities\, and public/third sector organizations. These ecosystem actors represent a variety of capabilities and resources essential for innovation. However\, complex interdependencies among external actors often present significant challenges for organizations’\, including internal configurations and capturing value. Organizations gain significant competitive advantage through a proactive approach to actors and coalition development within the innovation ecosystem. Learnings from ecosystem actors on business and technology fronts influence internal organizational units in innovation and building new capabilities. In this webinar\, Dr Ghani will talk about innovation ecosystems from a university perspective\, particularly on capturing value. \nAbout the Speaker: \nDr Arsalan Ghani is an Industrial Fellow at IfM Engage – Institute for Manufacturing\, University of Cambridge. He works with industry\, universities\, and the public sector in building competitive capabilities and institutional strengthening. His areas of expertise are strategy\, innovation\, and supply chains. The book chapters of WRE 2018 and WRE 2020 have already been published by CRC Press (Link1) (Link2).  \nWRE 2021 invites book chapters on the chosen topics listed here.
