Wave propagation, transmission-line theory, the smith chart, impedance matching and two-port, network analysis, s-parameters, strip-type transmission lines, rectangular and circular waveguides, reciprocal multiport junctions , microwave resonators and filters, bandstop filters, bandpass filters, wideband microwave filters, antenna fundamental parameters, radiation power density, directivity, antenna radiation intensity, elementary dipole antenna.

Pre-requisites: EE371
Co-requisites: none

Hours: XYZ where X = Lecture, Y = Lab, Z = Credit
All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
