Introduction to continuous and discrete time systems, analysis of continuous (CT) systems using Fourier and Laplace transforms, ideal and practical CT filters, sampling, analysis of discrete time (DT) systems, difference equations and unit sample response, z-transform, DT Fourier transform.

Pre-requisites: ES214/EE212Co-requisites: None

Hours: XYZ where X = Lecture, Y = Lab, Z = Credit
All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
