Use of FPGAs and the design of the FPGA architecture, comparison of efficiency and programming effort of FPGA based signal processing with a DSP processor implementation, architecture of FPGAs, modeling the area and delay of key circuitry, programmable routing, and computer aided design (CAD) tools for FPGA architecture.
