The aim of the course is to fine tune the general computing skills of the students in a specific area and exercise their communication skills. It will allow students to choose a specific area of study of interest to them and to choose a method of working which is suited to their area of study. Thus some may adopt a research-oriented approach whilst others may concentrate on building specific systems to solve known problems.
