Background analysis and shell theory, plasticity, limit analysis and shakedown, design by rule, design by analysis, local loads, supports and mountings, nozzle design and branch connections, design rules for dished ends including buckling aspects, design of externally pressurized vessels, fatigue aspects of design, tube sheet design, flange design.
