Introduction to particle technology, Fundamentals of solid handling,Transportation (conveying) & storage, Size reduction (crushing & grinding) & enlargement crystallization, Pelletization& granulation, Screening, Sieving, Coagulation, Flocculation, Fluidization, Mixing, Filtration, Agitation, Particles settling, Statistics of particle size and their distribution & classification, Various solid handling &Processing; equipment, Emulsions, Coagulants and Powder technology.

Hours: XYZ where X = Lecture, Y = Lab, Z = Credit
All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
