Basics of managing manufacturing and service organisations; strategic decision making; facility location and layout; job design and work compensation; demand forecasting; capacity and material planning; scheduling in various environments; emerging trends in managing operations. Focus on selection and use of quantitative management tools after introducing fundamental concepts.
