Causes and prevention of accidents. Mine safety regulations. Mine rescue training. Safety management and organization. Introduction to mine ventilation systems at mine face, mine gases and use of gas detection equipment. Quality, quantity, and temperature-humidity control of the mine atmosphere; general mine environmental control.
