The course would provide an understanding of the principles of microeconomic analysis of business decisions in competitive and noncompetitive markets. The main topics in this course would include supply and demand analysis; free markets; scarcity; production possibilities; the price system; government policy; labor markets; capital, and natural resource markets, and externalities.
