The main objective of this course is to give students an understanding of the working of socialist, capitalist and mixed economy at the aggregate level. The basic themes are extended to explore the disciplines of national income, public finance, macro economics in closed and open economy, macroeconomic stabilization policies, money and banking link up with conventional macroeconomics.
