This course will provide an opportunity for students to identify, research, gain a basic knowledge of, discuss and evaluate IT-related new and emerging technologies and their impact on information systems, business, and society. The topics include: new technologies such as telecommunications, nanotechnologies, robotics and artificial intelligence, diffusion, substitution and convergence of new technologies, politics and economics of innovation.
