Vector analysis, Coulombs law and electric field intensity, electric flux density, Gausss law and divergence, energy and potential, electrical properties of materials, experimental mapping methods, Poisons and Laplaces equations, the steady magnetic field and magnetic properties of materials, time-varying fields and Maxwells equations.

Pre-requisites: PH102, MT201
Co-requisites: none

Hours: XYZ where X = Lecture, Y = Lab, Z = Credit
All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
