Sampling and quantization, image transforms, discrete cosine transform, image random models and prediction techniques, image restoration, image enhancement, image and video coding and compression, image understanding, image recognition and computer vision.

Hours: XYZ where X = Lecture, Y = Lab, Z = Credit
All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
