Empirical Model Construction; dimensional analysis and similitude, simulation modelling. Computer Simulation with Random Processes: numerical integration, random walks, the approach to equilibrium, micro-canonical ensemble, canonical ensemble, quantum systems. Simulation Packages/Languages: CSMP, DYNAMO, SIMSCRIPT, GASP, SIMULA, Monte-Carlo Method.

All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
