Introduction to modern analog and digital communication systems, Fourier analysis of signals and systems, signal transmission, amplitude, and angle modulation techniques, sampling theorem, PCM, DPCM, and delta modulation, digital communication systems, principal of modern digital communication systems including M-ary communication, digital carrier and multiplexing, and emerging digital communication technologies.

Hours: XYZ where X = Lecture, Y = Lab, Z = Credit
All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
