Introduction to electrical circuits, KVL and KCL, Norton Thevenin theorems, AC and DC characteristics of RL, RC and RLC circuits, Introduction to diodes, structure, properties, types and applications, Silicone controlled Rectifier (SCR), Introduction to BJTs, structure, properties, types and applications, Introduction to MOSFETs, structure, properties, types and applications, Introduction to IGBTs, structure, properties, types and applications.

All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
