Review of fundamental properties of engineering and advanced materials, Advanced and modern processing and surface treatments of materials and components – twin-roll and rapid solidification casting, Thermomechanical processes, Production of fine metallic powders, Mechanically alloying, High temperature materials for power plants and aerospace applications, Automotive materials, Shape memory alloys, Biomaterials, High temperature materials and coatings, Superplasticity, Ti- and Al- based alloys, Nanostructured and smart materials, Special topics include: Advanced characterization techniques, Applications and processing of MMCs, CMCs, OMCs and nanocomposites and nanostructured materials.
