This course is a “capstone” seminar in general management and can only be taken upon successful completion of the five preceding courses. It would help students integrate knowledge, theories, skills, and techniques derived from previous courses. This course will develop a well-defined approach to solving the economic, technical, ethical, and human problems of management. The contents of the course include introduction to strategy, strategic management; industry analysis and trends, PEST analysis; five forces analysis; blue ocean strategy; organizational internal analysis; designing business level strategies; designing corporate level strategies; network level strategies; network level strategies; global strategies; strategy implementation and strategic change; leadership and corporate governance; and corporate social responsibility.

All hours are per week.
3 Lab hours constitute 1 credit hour
1 credit hour implies 1 lecture of 50mins per academic week. 16 weeks in total.
