Mr. Abdul Muneem student, CPMS group, GIK Institute is currently a PhD student at FES, GIK Institute under Supervision of Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi. Mr. Abdul Muneem has been selected as International Program Associate (IPA) at High Energy Nuclear Physics laboratory, RIKEN, Japan.

The Research work will be carried out at RIKEN, Japan and GSI Germany under co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Takehiko Saito. The HypHI Project GSI in Germany, which has been led by the Chief Scientist Dr. Takehiko Saito of the High Energy Nuclear Physics laboratory, RIKEN, Japan developed a novel technique to study exotic hyper nuclei at extreme isospin and/or with more strangeness by employing induced reactions of energetic heavy ion beam.

Mr. Abdul Muneem would be working on the first hypernuclear experiment with projectile fragmentation reactions of heavy ion beams and unique identification of produced hypernuclei by invariant mass method developed by HypHI collaboration
