Conference Overview

The 3rd International Conference on Modern Technologies in Mechanical & Materials Engineering (MTME-2025) continued the MTME series’ mission of providing a high-quality international platform for academics, researchers, industry professionals, and students to engage in meaningful knowledge exchange and collaboration. Building on the success of previous editions, MTME-2025 focused on advancing research, innovation, and practical applications in key domains of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.

The conference covered core research areas including design and manufacturing, thermo-fluids, drives and control, and materials sciences, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and promoting solutions to contemporary engineering challenges. MTME-2025 successfully showcased cutting-edge research through multiple scholarly dissemination channels.

A total of 27 peer-reviewed proceedings articles were published in the Materials Proceedings journal, while 16 abstracts and 11 poster presentations were published in the official Book of Abstracts, reflecting the diversity and quality of contributions presented at the conference.

A major highlight of MTME-2025 was an engaging panel discussion on “Academia–Industry Preparedness in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”. The panel featured renowned experts from Pakistan’s leading industrial organizations, including FFC, Fatima Group, KSB Pumps, OGDCL, Dawlance, and NESCOM, alongside distinguished academics. University representation included GIK Institute (GIKI), NUST, COMSATS University, and PAF-IAST, enabling a rich and balanced dialogue on emerging skill requirements, collaborative research, and the evolving role of AI in engineering education and industry.

MTME-2025 successfully strengthened academia–industry linkages, encouraged collaborative research, and contributed to the global discourse on modern engineering technologies.
