GIKI Partners with Atlas Honda for joint research & innovation in Pakistan’s electric mobility sector. Atlas Honda gifted their latest electric vehicle bike, the Honda BENLY e, to GIKI.
In an effort to spearhead innovation in Pakistan’s electric mobility sector, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences & Technology (GIKI) has joined forces with Atlas Honda, capitalizing on the university’s academic prowess and cutting-edge research infrastructure. Marking the inception of this collaborative endeavor, the executive team from Atlas Honda graced GIKI with their presence on 31st May 2024. Cementing their partnership and dedication to advancing research, Atlas Honda gifted their latest electric vehicle bike, the Honda BENLY e: to GIKI.
The event, which was organized by ORIC GIKI, was attended by representatives from Atlas Honda, including Mr. Afaq Ahmed, Director Technical Atlas Group and VP Marketing Atlas Honda, Mr. Zia Ul Hassan, Mr. Sadullah Ejaz, Mr. Muhammad Ammar, Mr. Yawar Farooq, Mr. Riaz Ahmed, Mr. Talal Ahmed, & Mr. Kashif Ali Khan. Prof. Dr. Fazl A Khalid, Rector GIKI, in his welcoming remarks appreciated the Atlas Honda gesture of fostering Academia-Industry Linkages. Both the parties showed their commitment for the collaborative research endeavors in the domain of Electric Vehicles. The GIKI & Atlas Honda also reiterated their commitment of keeping environment a top priority and focusing on Sustainable Solutions.
