Requisite qualifications and experience are as follows:

Assistant Professor and Lecturer positions in Computing Programs:

Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Faculty of Computer Sciences & Engineering: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security and Computer Engineering: (Specialization in Computer graphics/3d animations/Game Development, Python Programming, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Stochastic Learning, System on Chip, Embedded Systems, Robotics, Cloud Computing, Signal Processing, Internet of Things, Theoretical Computer Science, Block chain/DevOps, Cloud Computing & Database Management Systems, Network Architecture and Protocols, Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, Modern Cryptography and Cyber Risk Management). Certifications like, CompTia A+, Network+, or Security+ would be a plus.

Requisite criteria are as follows:

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:

PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution, preferably with some publications in refereed journals of international repute. The applicant should have demonstrated the capability to conduct independent and original research.

LECTURER:

Master’s Degree/ (First Class) in the relevant field from HEC recognized University / Institution with no 3rd Division in the Academic career.

Director IT:

Qualifications and Skills:

    • B.S. in IT or relevant discipline (min. 16 years’ education) from a recognized university. Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline will be preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in network and/or system administration and/or software project management within higher education sector or substantially large enterprise(s).
    • An additional 2 years’ experience as a Head of IT Department within higher education sector or substantially large enterprise(s) is mandatory.
    • Candidates having professional certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, HCNA, HCNP, and MCSE, will be preferred.
    • Sound technical background/knowledge and hand-on experience of LANs, Wi-Fi, datacenter, Windows and Linux servers, server virtualization, and firewalls is required.
    • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of networks and systems, administration of CMS/LMS/ERP and website, and software project management.
    • Expertise in data center management, data governance and security, project management and technical writing.
    • Excellent knowledge of industry standards and large campus systems and networks.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, flexibility, ability to resolve issues and to maintain positive relationships with users and team.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Leading the IT Department by creating vision and strategic direction for enhancement, optimization and expansion of IT services and resources, and for providing technological support for education, research and administrative activities.
    • Planning, organizing, managing, controlling, communicating and evaluating electronic data operations and IT service and resources.
    • Administration and improvement of IT services and resources include LAN, Wi-Fi, CMS\LMS\ERP, website, CCTV, PBX, videoconferencing, IT helpdesk, and datacenter.
    • Planning and budgeting the expansion of IT services and resources.
    • Heading Network Administrator and his team to keep up and enhance all campus networks.
    • Heading Manager (IT) and his team to keep up and enhance the datacenter and systems/labs.
    • Heading software development team to develop, keep up and enhance the Institute’s website, software and CMS\LMS\ERP.
    • Ensuring excellent customer support services and troubleshooting and hardware and software maintenance through the IT Helpdesk.
    • Coordinating with software/service providers for optimal operations, maintenance and up gradation.
    • Training, coaching, managing and directing IT personnel.
    • Actively pursuing best practices to maximize the use of existing resources.
    • Designing, developing, and implementing network and systems, policies and procedures.
    • Evaluating, implementing and maintaining the Institute’s computing and software needs.
    • Ensuring smooth running of Institute’s networks and systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
    • Ensuring information security, network access and backup systems.
    • Identifying problems and implementing strategic solutions in time.
    • Securing networks and systems by monitoring, controlling, evaluation, establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures, and maintaining documentations.
    • Reporting and documenting the problems with the details of the nature of the problem, when and why it occurred, how it is being resolved and how the problem can be avoided in future.
    • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Institute

Senior Software Developer:

 B.S. in Computer Science / Software Engineering or relevant discipline (min. 16 years’ education) from a recognized university. At least 4 years’ relevant experience in developing software for academia. Expertise in full-stack development (ASP .Net Core and Angular), web development, and/or Odoo development (CMS/LMS/ERP).

Assistant Director (ORIC):

Master’s degree from a recognized university preferably with at least 2 years post qualification experience of working in Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) or Careers’ office (for students) of a government, semi-government or autonomous or reputed private Institution. Should have good working knowledge of MS office, taking minutes/notes of the meetings, drafting official noting/letters and excellent communication skills.

 Assistant Director (Incubation Center):

Master’s degree (at least 16 years’ education) from a reputed international or HEC recognized local institution in Engineering/Technology/Entrepreneurship/Business or other related field. The candidate should also have at least 2 years’ experience in tech startups, strong links with industry in the country and abroad, and venture capital and other sources of funding. Strong communication and management skills are essential.

Computer Engineer, Computer Sciences & Engineering:

BS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering (or closely related discipline) with specialization in Artificial Intelligence/Cyber Security/Data Science, Parallel Programming with 1st Division from a recognized university. Candidates having experience of teaching and research will be given preference.

Materials Engineer, Faculty of Materials Sciences & Engineering:

BE/BS in Materials Engineering with 1st Division from a recognized university. Candidates having experience of teaching and research will be given preference.

Electronics Engineer, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering:

Electronics Engineer with bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering with 1st division from a recognized university. Candidates having hands on experience of lab supervision and lab development will be given preference.

Alumni Relations Officer:

“B.S.(Hon.)/Master’s degree holder (at least 16 years) with minimum three years’ of experience in developing, coordinating and evaluating programs and projects to promote Alumni relations and serve as liaison between the Institute and its Alumni. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the Institute’s Alumni Relations strategy. The Officer will also ensure effective communication between the Institute and the Alumni to coordinate and arrange Alumni events and activities in the Institute.

The candidate should also be capable of arranging lectures, seminars, and workshops and should have good IT Skills and excellent communication skills”.

Preference will be given to Female and GIK Graduate.

Fire & Safety Officer:

 Graduate or equivalent from a recognized university with Station Fire Officer Course/ Rescue Course and at least 5 years post qualification/course relevant experience in a similar capacity.

Khateeb, Mosque: 

M.A. Islamiyat from a recognized University with at least 4 years relevant experience (equivalent to BPS-17 level) of khateeb / teaching Islamic studies  in a government or semi government or autonomous or reputed institution.

Staff Nurse (Female):

 Diploma in Nursing from a recognized Institute with 03 years’ relevant experience in operation theater/emergency care in a reputed Hospital/Medical Center.

Lab. Technician, Electrical:

 1st class DAE in Electrical from a Polytechnic Institute. Candidates having three years relevant experience will be given preference. Computer skills are essential. 

Lab Technician, Civil:

1st class DAE in Civil Engineering from a Board of Technical Education with 3 years’ post diploma relevant experience in a scientific organization of repute Computer skills are essential.

Lab Technician (Computer Science & Engineering):

1st class DAE in Computer Science/Electronics from a Board of Technical Education with 3 years’ post diploma relevant experience in a scientific organization of repute or BS in IT/Computer Science /Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering or relevant degree with experience in Linux/Windows and virtual machines. Candidates should be ideally able to understand and repair general electronics equipment. Computer skills are essential

 Supervisor Hostels/Mess: 

Graduate from a recognized university with Diploma Course of Hotel / Restaurant Management from a recognized Institute with 3 years’ relevant experience in a reputed Hotel / Restaurant / Hostel.

Supervisor, Horticulture and Sanitation: 

B.S degree (at least 16 years) in Agriculture or Forestry or other relevant discipline preferably with two years’ experience of horticulture/sanitation in a government or semi government or autonomous or reputed institution. Should have good working knowledge of computer and excellent communication skills.”

Lab. Assistant, FCS&E:

Graduation in Computer Science preferably 1st Division from a recognized university. Experience of working as Lab Assistant in Computer Science / Engineering Department of a government or autonomous or reputed private organization is preferable. Computer knowledge / skills are essential.

Fireman:

FA/F.Sc with two years’ experience in any industrial / educational fire services. Fireman & Safety course from Civil Defense Institute is essential.

Driver:  

Matric with H.T.V./P.S.V. driving license and 5 years heavy duty driving experience. Maximum age limit is 45 years (relaxable in suitable cases).
